"Lizzy Gets an Ilizarov!" is a children's book I illustrated that was written by Monica Taddeo. The book features a lizard character, Lizzy, who has a medical condition causing her to have one short leg. The story is about her journey with this condition, and follows her as she must a limb-lengthening procedure. The project spanned February to November of 2022.
