My name is Lauren Hanapole! I am a highly skilled digital illustrator and animator. While I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, I have been illustrating digitally since 2012 and animating since 2011. I have a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Communication Arts with a focus in animation.
I specialize in creating illustrations and animations of animals and characters. My work is very stylized and graphic, with an emphasis on shape, expression, and color. I admire animals, one of the main subjects of my work, and have worked with many clients who commission me for art of their original animal characters.
I continually practice and enhance my techniques while improving my delivery speed and efficiency. I’m always looking for ways to simplify forms and shapes while producing innovative and unique characters that are enjoyed by many.
